TOMMY LEE's 'College' Show Draws 5.5 Million Viewers For Third Episode
August 25, 2005Jeff Korbelik of the Lincoln Journal Star is reporting that NBC saw ratings for "Tommy Lee Goes to College" drop from last week, but not significantly. The third episode of the reality show, which features the 42-year-old MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer attending classes at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, drew 5.5 million viewers Tuesday night, according to Nielsen Media Research.
That was good enough for "Tommy" to finish fourth in its 8 p.m. timeslot.
Last week, "Tommy" averaged 5.65 million with its first two episodes. The third episode beat the premiere (5.2 million),but lagged behind the second episode (6.1 million).
Lee's program also slipped slightly among viewers ages 18 to 49, the demographic advertisers tend to target. It drew 3.4 million compared to the 3.6 million it averaged last week.
NBC re-aired the first two episodes of "Tommy Lee" from 7 to 8 p.m.
Episode Nos. 1 and 2 drew 4.4 and 4.5 million viewers, respectively.
